Latest news about the school will appear on this blog. Whereas class activities are covered in the class pages and class blogs, this will become the main reporting site for whole school activities.
PARKLANDS TURANGAWAEWAE FESTIVAL, 2013
This annual event, which has replaced the Parklands Gala, celebrates the cultural diversity which is the hallmark of our school. We are a true multicultural, international school which is well-regarded for its strong Maori identity personified by its wonderful Whanau unit, unique in the district, just having celebrated its 20th anniversary. The following short (amateur) videoclips show some of the evening's activities.
Many students, dressed in their national costumes, participated in the flag parade down the street and back to the school.
